Brexit Update from Flexicon

Effective from 1st January 2021, the UK and EU have agreed a Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) which provides for tariff and quota-free trade with the EU.

This now requires documentation with regards to Country of origin to support our Customers claims for the preferential tariff free rate. We can support our Customers with the following documentation, contact us for more details;

We have an EORI No. 258192678000 and we have responded to EU advice by migrating our product validation to EU based Notified Bodies, so we will continue to use the accepted CE marking of our products.

Our European customers will need to have their own EORI number which we are happy to hold for reference to avoid any delay in the despatch of consignments.

As a company well versed with the demands of international trade, we have every confidence in our employees to respond to our Customer’s needs. As part of a global business, Atkore have operations in mainland Europe which underlines our commitment to our European customers, distributors and our suppliers and we wish to reassure our partners of our ongoing commitment to continued trade, both within the EU and with our other Global markets.

We trust you will be further reassured by the fact that we export to over 50 countries and have recently been awarded Approved Exporter Status for global regions including Far East and Americas, reducing the administrative burden necessary to satisfy customs requirements for many of our RoW partners.
